West Country Trout is a high quality restocking
trout farm based in North Cornwall one mile from the coastal village
of Boscastle. It was founded in 1982 and has serviced the trout
fishing industry nationwide ever since. Customers have come to us from
as far afield as North Wales, Essex and Tanzania.
We also run a consultancy service for any one interested in aquaculture.
Our clients include multi-national corporations, the education
sector, public fisheries and privately owned lakes and ponds.
West Country Trout specialise in the production of brown and
rainbow trout and we have also developed the spectacular "Boscastle
Blue". This is an extremely fast-growing , distinctively electric-blue
trout which makes it an ideal specimen or trophy fish for large or small
waters; its dramatic colour also acts as a clear marker for population
numbers and fish movement.
