My Granada B733 DEV was first seen, for sale in June '89, rather dirty and with over 50,000 on the clock, but I bought and collected "her" on Saturday July 1st 1989. Raven (Dk blue/black) metallic over silver with Raven Athos and crushed velour cloth interior and now 84,000 miles. 1st owned by Ford Motor Co. it was one of the very first produced in March '85 and every available option fitted, including cruise control, self levelling rear suspension, rear belts, alarm system, graphic equalizer with rear seat passenger headphone control, along with standard features like air conditioning, heated powered front seats and powered reat seats,electric windows, mirrors, sunroof and ABS etc. Few 12 year old cars have this sort of equipment and lavish interiors and even a good one can be found for ridiculously low figures. I've kept the car to as near standard and original condition as possible needing no bodywork or paint,only one pair of tyres, a pair of rear dampers, rear Ford spoiler stainless exhaust and about 5 batteries. .The smooth and reasonably powerfull V6 engines can even get the fuel computer reading over 30 MPG B733 DEV is often at meetings and shows organized or attended by the Granada Enthusiasts' Club and has many concours awards.
