SITE MISSION
The aim of this site is to build a database of information - text and images - about the many
Great War memorials that can be found in churches in the UK (and abroad !)
Very often these church memorials differ widely from the 'standard' village, town or
city memorials in that they are more 'personal' in their design and commemoration
At present this site is just an idea !
There are only a few churches in my immediate vicinity recorded here
As this changes so the layout and design of the site will change accordingly
