This is the famous Menin Gate in the Belgium town of Ypres. It has the names of 54,000 men who have no grave.

The names of Thomas Butler, Walter Cottle, ( see below) Charles King and  George Moore can all be found on the Menin Gate.

Each night at 8pm the local Fire Brigade play the last post. This has been carried out every night since the end of the First World War.
