Mr Angus McLagan, New Hermand, West Calder, has been notified that his son, Corporal Hugh McLagan, RFA, has been killed in action in France. This is the second son Mr McLagan has lost in the war. The family was abroad when the war broke out, but set a most patriotic example in at once answering their country's call for men.
