MONDAY
Meet outside Newhaven Fort at 10.30am
Bring a packed lunch or money for food/gifts.
We will explore the Fort and the 1st World War trench.
You should be collected from the Fort at 1.30pm or walk back to school with us for the normal bus.
TUESDAY
Meet in the Sixth Form Study Area--this will be our base.
8.30am-10.00am Video and World War 1 presentation.
10.30am-1.30pm THE DIG.
WEDNESDAY
Meet in the Sixth Form Study Area - 8.30am presentation.
9.30am-1.30 THE DIG.
THURSDAY
Meet in the Sixth Form Study Area - 8.30am presentation.
9.30am-1.30 THE DIG.
FRIDAY
Meet in the Sixth Form Study Area - 8.30am.
Finishing touches to the trench and website/newspaper/models.
10.30am interviews and presentations.
12.00 Official opening of the trench followed by a barbecue.

• If you have a spade bring it !
  
• The cost of the activity is £2 (including entry to the Fort and barbecue).
  
• During the week you will get the chance to dig the trench, build trench periscopes and models, design the trench website/newspaper, interview and video staff and pupils.
