Stage 1 - Preparation

You cannot hope to have a good end result with make-up unless you use good quality cosmetics, work in good light and prepare the skin properly. See our Skin Care Range.

Remove any eye make-up with Jean D’Arcel Make-up Remover. It is oil free and dissolves the make-up without you rubbing and stretching the delicate area around the eye. Cleanse, exfoliate and tone. Avoid using water as the chemicals can affect colours. Moisturise with a good quality product such as Caviar Day Cream then use a lifting eye gel such as Caviar Beautifying Eye Gel and allow area to dry.

Use a make-up sponge to gently apply one of the following bases. Start in the middle and work out. Finish at the jaw line and blend. If you are worried about your neck being a different colour mix your foundation with moisturiser and blend in

Light Reflective Concealer

You need to fix your foundation and any corrective work in place with a powder. Once you have some powder on your brush, shake off excess and lightly roll brush over you face but not on your eye lids.

Blushers should be applied at the end. A very light dusting across the cheekbones. Apply powder to the brush and shake off any excess. If you do over apply take the colour down with your powder above.
