Ayurvedic Treatments... Where East meets West
A very different, deeply relaxing and detoxifying treatment for both men and women. With Ayurveda the belief is everyone is born in state of balance but the ageing process, bad diet; stress, anxiety or poor sleep patterns can all cause disharmony. Through Ayurveda, one way to re-balance the body is through marma-point massage. For both head and body treatments you choose the aromatic concentrate to suit your mood, which is mixed with warm oil and drizzled onto your scalp and shoulders. The treatment starts with a head, neck, shoulder and facial massage whilst seated. For maximum scalp & hair conditioning oils can be left in for up to 24hrs.
Indian Head Ritual - £35.00 (1hr)
For the head ritual we continue a marma point massage of the upper body and further face, scalp, neck and shoulder massage on the treatment couch. After which a herbal facial mask is applied, either a fresh detoxifying green tea, which is deep cleansing and regenerating or a warming sandalwood which is a very healing, deep peeling mineral rich clay mask, leaving your skin soft and gentle.
Herbal Dream Body Ritual £45.00 (1.25hrs)
After the head massage the warmed oil with your chosen blend is used to oil the body for the marma-point massage of the body which is very warming and comforting. Herbal Dream Powder is a wonderful rich spicy mixture of cardamom, kurkuma and nutmeg which is mixed with our marine salt and warmed sesame oil for the polishing ritual. The salt opens the pores and removes dead skin cells, sesame oil leaves the skin soft and smooth whilst the spices stimulate skin metabolism and strengthens the immune system, leaving the skin refreshed and revitalised with each spice contributing to an overall sense of well being.
