This report covers 20 Major Leisure Companies and is published annually in early April.

Questions raised in the Study

  • Are significant rises in Executive reward justified?
  • Do Executive rewards reflect dividend growth?
  • Is the cost of Executive pensions clear?
  • How does ROCE indicate company success?
  • How can companies reduce Remuneration Risks?

Janet Salmon says: There's a check-list on how companies can reduce their remuneration risks, particularly with the downturn in the economy. Companies should emphasise qualitative, people-oriented and environmental criteria in their remuneration strategy and not just benchmark against their competitors.
