STARRY EYED |

I would like to thank MM for one of the best concerts I have been to for a long time. Following up one of your predictions for 1974, I went to see Starry Eyed and Laughing and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. During the last year or so I have been to see many diverse groups, including the Who, ELP, Yes, Led Zeppelin, BBA and many others. While these have all been very impressive there always seemed to be something missing – the sheer enjoyment of playing and getting an audience to react to the music and show it. Starry Eyed and Laughing did all this and much more. Whilst not being wholly original or great musicians, they appeal to an audience who were mainly jazz influenced, having come in to see Nucleus, who were billed over them. - BARRY.J.WHITE, Cayley Hall, Loughborough University, Leics |
