| Valentines weekend 2005, I surprised my wife with a long weekend break to Prague. We grabbed our passports, hopped on a British Airways flight, were meeted and greeted by a chauffeur and taken to our hotel. In February it is cold! So much so that the Charles river was visibly freezing in front of our eyes whilst on a romantic river cruise. I've been told that Prague is a good place to go, but in reality the bug of commercialism has taken over, in fact the cost of standard items such as coffee, cola and snacks is probably on-par with the UK if not more costly. That said, the service was excellent, again the people very friendly, we did visit a few places on our travels so please click on a picture to see more.
