Welcome to the climbing reports web page, this page is intended to give information in addition to any of the available guide books information on specific climbs and climbing areas that I have explored other the years.  Information includes where to park, equipment used and things I would have do different so that other won't make the same mistakes that I made.

Grooved Arête, Tyfan, North Wales

Climbing the steep walls on Tryfan, good clean climbing at a low grade with breathtaking situations made a great days climbing.  Even the sun came out to make this a really hot day.

 

 

Tower Ridge (Summer), Ben Nevis, Scotland

Well know as a winter classic Tower ridge in the summer is one of the longest routes of its grade in the United kingdom and a great days adventure.

 

 

The Mont Aiguille, Vercors, France

A long and very tiring route where the walk in is harder than the climbing.  Reputed to be the birth place of alpine climbing the normal route proved to be a fine trip in

Cala Gonona (November 2004)

A superb trip to Sardinia with the South Devon Mountaineering Club for a week of sport climbing despite the variable weather
