Traditional Jazz in the North West of the U.K.

Welcome to my Traditional Jazz Pages
THIS IS A NO FRILLS WEB SITE
363 pages of News, views and music

I hope you can hear the background music on this page, it's a beautiful rendition of Burgundy Street Blues played by John Hallam on clarinet, and Jeff Barnhart on piano. This is a track from  a CD which has been produced by Paul Adams on Lake Records, and was recorded at The Theatre Royal in Workington on the 2nd and 3rd September 2008.  These are two talented musicians who have come together to produce a delightful CD. If you want a copy, contact John via his website at www.johnhallamjazz.co.uk/

Welcome to my world of Traditional Jazz. The pages which follow are a tribute to the musicians who have dedicated themselves to playing the music of New Orleans and Dixieland in the North West of the British Isles. Although I try very hard to ensure all the information about the bands and events are correct, please check with the venues concerned before setting out on your journey.
