Many of us have probably heard the Savannah Jazz Band, but did you hear Mike Pembroke's Savannah Jazz Band in the 60's. I'm indebted to Brian Ellwood for this copy of a Tiger Rag, a recording made in 1965 with the following personnel Mike Pembroke (tbn), Alan Gresty (cnt), Roy Burrows (clt), John Bentley (bjo), Brian Ellwodd (perc), and Dave Wright (sousa). |
