The Canal Street Jazz Band in Hamburg

Hi Fred! I wonder if anyone else remembers the Canal Street Jazz Band in Hamburg? 

Two-cornet lead etc., all young fellows, a red hot outfit playing early jazz (A. J. Piron era), unfashionable in the Fifties. 

They played in a cold storage house by the River Elbe. I recall their leader was cornettist Michael Wulff. Are any of them still playing?
