Watch the bottom half of the video above to see what I mean  :-)

I've watched it a couple of times now and I'm very happy with it - it's typical of a Chris Barber concert, and I've been to a few of them, so it brought back many pleasant memories.  On the negative side, I think that it does lack a bit of atmosphere and none of Chris's chat between tunes is provided, although I could almost recite his script anyway!  Also, there isn't any personnel listing or recording information.  But these really are minor criticisms. - Jim Callander

Many thanks for the DVD which arrived safely yesterday am. I have watched about half of it and am enjoying it very much. I have been attending Chris Barber concerts since the mid 50's and this will be a valuable archive which I shall hopefully enjoy for a long time. Thank you again. - John Nowell.

Many thanks for the Chris Barber DVD. What a fine band he had then around then in 1982. I prefer it to the earlier groups. My favourite track is "Mary had a little Lamb" the one I heard previously on Youtube, but "Good Queen Bess" comes a close second for me. In the last chorus of Little Lamb Vic Pitt seems to be telling the drummer when to play his rim shots. It is difficult to believe that this is what he is actually doing but when he stops waving in the next 8 bars the drummer misses one of his shots!   It's great to have the DVD as a reminder of the Barber concerts I went to all those years ago. Thanks again - Peter Burkhill
