Frank Robinson accepts the certificate of enrolment into the
Merseybeat Hall of Fame
from Tony Davis. Only the 9th name on Merseyside to have been honoured this
way.
The big guns were out, and it was a crowded night at Liverpool Cricket Club when the Merseysippi Jazz Band celebrated 60 years since its formation. Special guests were Roy Williams, Enrico Tomasso and John Barnes, and what a formidable team they were. Many local musicians were there to help celebrate the event, and a great night was had by all.
