Reg Kenworthy

Reg learned to play the piano as a boy & later achieved an A.V.C.M. He formed his own Dance Band when he was 15 years of age, & later in his 20's began to learn the double bass & began playing along side the SAINTS JAZZBAND in the year 1956.

Reg then began recording with his band on Radio & Television, & appeared on the same shows with many famous visiting American bands.

He made particular friends with the then famous RED ALLEN & TRUMMY JOUNG who were touring at the time with the KID ORY BAND. More recently he played with the SMOKY CITY JAZZBAND and released several CD's with them.

Reg is now playing alongside THE MIKE CARNIE JAZZ ALL STARS who are currently playing in and around the North West.

Reg will laugh when you mention his stage name  -  ROCKIN'  REG.
