Harry Price sadly passed away on 24th April 2012
The River City Jazz Band was formed in the 1960’s and after some personnel changes over the years is still blowing strong.
The bands repertoire is mainly dedicated to the preservation of New Orleans style jazz.
The band plays every wednesday at The Old White House, Conwy. 9-11pm. Take the first left exit after Conwy Tunnel on A55 the follow the old A55 and the white House is on the right opposite caravan park.
They are also kept busy throughout the year playing at private functions , and have appeared on stage, screen and radio, along with their summer season each year on Llandudno Pier during July and August.
The band’s leader is Curly Jones on Banjo, with Gerry Owen on Clarinet, Billy
Edwards and Charles Wilson on Trumpets, Glyn Edwards on Bass, and Rod Ledsham on Drums.
Harry Price was on Trombone, but sadly passed away on 24th April 2012
