It's Trad Dad (Ring-a-ding Rhythm)

Filmed in Black & White in 1962, this DVD is a gold recording in terms of British Traditional Jazz Memorabilia. See the young Roy Williams on trombone with the Terry Lightfoot Band, The Chris Barber Band that we all loved, the antics of the Temperance Seven, and the costumes that purists objected to.

The storyline is corny and the acting is not gold standard, but the music is as good now as it was then. The film centres around a group of teenagers in a British town, who unite in their struggle to be allowed to listen to jazz music and 'rock and roll' . The mayor tries to ban the jukebox in the local coffeehouse, so the teenagers organise a jazz festival to prove that the music has nothing to do with the devil.

It costs $29 + $9 shipping, which today equates to £24, or even more with commission. I have been able to purchase several copies in bulk, and am able to pass on some of the savings. Unfortunately I have to pay CUSTOMS DUTY and onward postage and packaging, so I can't offer the deal I would like to have done, but I am still able to offer them at the reduced price of £19.50 including postage and packaging.

I was slightly disappointed in the presentation of the boxes in that they didn't have a professional looking cover with them, just an information sheet visible on the rear of the box, so I've added my own. However I can assure you you that these are genuine DVDs produced under licence, and not pirated copies.
