• Notes :  Hilda had been previously married and divorced Matthew Hatton using a Cross Petition
• Hilda married Matthew Hatton on the 26 Oct 1921 in the district of Brighton Vol 2b page 638 he was a Bathing Machine Proprietor aged 28 and a Widower, his Father was James Hatton. At the time of Marriage he lived at 10 Boss's Gardens, Brighton
• Hilda's Father was Alexander Shock a Stationer's Salesman, they lived on 3* Vera Road Fulham SW London.
• Witnesses were Harold and Kathleen Black.
• On the FreeBMD web there is a Matthew Henry Hatton born Sept qtr 1892 Vol 2b pg 241 this is probably the same Hatton
• Checked Indexes from 1934 to Oct 1937 for Hatton remarriage none found
