• FreeBMD show a Max Richard A Schoke born 1870, Whitechapel, London. I presume that the A - Alexander. Birth Cert - Whitechapel Vol 1c page 429 Mar qtr 1870
• The birth place of Alexander is given as Brisbane on the LDS site but Breslan (Breslau) in the UK 1901 census. Breslan is now in Poland, was renamed by the German administration Wroclaw.
• 1901 Census lists Alexander Schocke of Clerkenwell aged 65 as a House Dresser. Also in Clerkenwell is a Catherine Schocke aged 43 - daughter ??
