History

 

In 1980 Kurt Thomas started his apprenticeship over a 3 year period at the prestigious 5 star Connaught Hotel, Mayfair, London.
There he served under the guidance of one of the most highly acclaimed chefs in the world, Michel Bourdin.

After spending 3 months at Pierre Orsi, Lyon, France (2 Michelin Stars ), Kurt prepared and cooked fish for the a la carte and table d'hote menus for Restaurant Dubern, Bordeaux, France between 1984-1985.

From 1985-1999, Kurt became involved in the general running of The Copperfield Restaurant, Disley Cheshire ,England. There he developed a fish menu and in 1999 he took over the business when his parents retired.

Having worked for some of the best restaurants and hotels both in the UK and France, Kurt and his partner Sheena have set up there own business. Now "Kurts" high quality cuisine can be experienced in Bramhall, Cheshire.


Kurt's is a 25 cover Restaurant situated in Bramhall, Cheshire..... A menu to cater for all tastes and they blend their own coffee !

Each item on the menu is prepared to the very highest standard, using the finest ingredients and cooked to perfection. No attention to detail is overlooked and presentation is first class as is the service from the friendly front of house team.
