Website Design

By J. Daniel Pacey

I first became interested in website design while at college in 1995, this being the first time that I was able to access the Internet. I taught myself how to put together a basic homepage, although it was not until 1996 that I signed up for hosting space on Geocities to get it on-line. Since then I have designed a number of websites, several of which were produced whilst working for the Learning Technologies Team at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. I have also designed sites for societies at the University of Edinburgh and for my work at Heriot-Watt University. I currently co-edit the public website for the SCHOLAR programme.
