I bought a Fuji MX-1200 digital camera towards the end of the Autumn 2000 which got me interested in photography, at least as far as such a basic model would allow. You can find some of the pictures that I took with it in the galleries below:
I upgraded to the more versatile Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ3 in Spring 2005:
My current camera since June 2010 is the Canon EOS 550D. I use a Canon EF-S 18-135mm zoom lens and a Sigma 30mm prime lens.
These were my entries [1, 2] in the BBC competition, A Digital Picture of Britain.
This is my entry for the Focus on the Festival competition run by the Scotsman.
I usually spend some time touching up and manipulating digital images with Adobe Photoshop before uploading them, by improving the framing and adjusting the levels and contrast primarily, but sometimes go further, removing blemishes to improve the image quality.
