In 123 you can write scripts using LotusScript™, which is a version of BASIC. Having the '97 version I can tell you that LotusScript™ is a very awkward and illogical. Doing things with the current selection of very tricky because all of the useful properties that you want to change are read-only. Despite this I have still written two decent add-ins. They are shaderow.12A and boxplots.12A(16KB). 'shaderow.12A' contains a script for shading cells to make it easier to read wide tables. 'boxplots.12A' draws box plots showing the minimum, maximum, median and inter-quartile range of data. Neither have any options because the language was to awkward for me to bother. Both are illustrated below.

To install them follow these steps:
Click the link above and download into the 'addins' folder in your 123 folder.
Unzip the files.
Load 123.
Select 'Add-Ins' then 'Manage Add-Ins' from the file menu.
Click on Register in the box that appears and select shaderow.12A.
Repeat step 4 for boxplots.12A.
Click on both of them in the list so that they are ticked.
Click on 'Done' and two new commands will appear in the actions menu of 123.
