There were only three entries in this first tournament and they didn't do too well. Vidar's Folk Navbot was encrypted text rather than an attachment and the AI file editor couldn't decrypt it. That left Reaper and Shrew. Shrew was written ages ago by Shea and failed to cope with my amazing designs. Reaper's code is taken from James's multiple tournament winning bug and solved two of the mazes with very impressive times but got lost in the others.

I suspect I didn't give quite enough time for people to write their bugs because the ones I got were not specially written for this tournament. Just to prove its not impossible, I have got a bug that can solve all the mazes well within the time allowed but much slower than a good bug should be able to.
