   Will of Francis Barraclough Made 31 August 1741  
 

In the name of God, I Francis Barraclough of North Bierley, in the county of York, Miller, being sick in body but of sound and perfect understanding and memory, etc

Imprimis, I give & bequeath to Mary my beloved wife whom I make & ordain my only & sole Exacutrix of this my last Will and Testament, all and Singular my Lands, Messages, Tenements, goods, chattels, household stuff, ready money, Leases & all other Things to me belonging, whether real or personal things movable and imovable, wheresoever they be, by her freely to be possessed & enjoyed, paying to my children such Legacies ashowafter expressed. Viz: I will and ordain my said wife to pay to my oldest daughter Mary ye sum of Twenty pounds of lawful money of England at ye age of twenty one out of ye aforesaid estate.
Item: I give to my son John Twenty pounds.
Item: to Sarah my daughter I give Twenty pounds both aforesaid to receive their shares respectively at ye age of twenty one.
Item: to Francis my son I give Twenty pounds at ye age of Twenty one.
Item: I give, to my son Joseph Twenty pounds at ye age of Twenty one.
Item: I give, to my son Abraham Twenty pounds at ye age of Twenty one.
Item: I give, to my son Stephen Twenty pounds at ye age of Twenty one.
Item: I give, to my daughter Elizabeth Twenty pounds at ye age of Twenty one.
All ye ??? of my estate whatsoever I give to my said wife freely & ??? to possess & enjoy as long & during ye time She continues my Widow, but if she either marry or decease ye said residue of my estate is to ??? & be equally divided amongst all my children & if any of my said children ???? that they arrive at ye said age of twenty one, then ye share or shares of ye ?? shall be given & divided equally amongst all ? survive. And I do hereby revoke etc.
