In the name of God amen I John Sutcliffe of Horton in the parish of Bradford in the County of York Black Smith Do this Sixteenth day of September In the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty Three make this my Will in mannerfollowing.
First my will and mind is that all my just Debts funeral Expenses and the Expenses of proving or registering of this my Will be paid by my Trustees and Executors hereinafter named out of my real and personal Estate situate standing lying and being in the Township of Little Horton aforesaid and now occupied by my self and my other tenants with all their appurtonances theseunto belonging.
In the First place the Cottage I now occupy I give and bequeath unto my son John Sutcliffe after him paying the sum of one hundred pounds to be paid to Hannah Sutcliffe, Sarah Sutcliffe, Martha Sutcliffe and John Sutcliffe my self
The other front Front House occupied by John Walker I give and bequeath to my Daughter Hannah after paying seventy pounds into shares Sarah Martha John and myself Hannah my will and mind is for House at the back side I give and bequeath to unto my Daughter Sarah also I give and bequeath other Dwelling unto my Daughter Martha
I give and bequeath all my personal Estate unto my children above mentioned share and share alike
When my youngest child attains the age of Twenty one If one or more of my children should die or all of them the same for to be for the next of kinship
Lastley I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint William Swaine of the Township of Bowling joiner and James Wilkinson of the same Township Bottom and Trustees and Executors of this my Will them to see me properly intered and my Will fulfilled in all respects In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal upon this sheet of paper the Day and year above written.

The attached Certificate dated seveteenth of January 1857 refers to the late John Sutcliffe as a widower.
His son John as a woolsorter and his daughters Hannah and Martha, spinsters as the only surviving children.
It also gives the date of death as 17 November 1833.
