 I am currently researching the following Yorkshire names: - Ambler, Baker, *Barraclough, Bateman, Bates, Booth, Broadbent, *Brook, *Brown, Chadwick, Cockcroft, *Collins, Coning, Crowther, Fearnley, Fentriss, *Haigh, Hanson, Hardcastle, Hartas, Harwood, Holmes, Metcalf, Nowell, Oliver, Pennington, Pollard, Radcliffe, *Roebuck, Routh, Schofield, Smith, Sugden, *Sutcliffe, *Tordoff, Ventress (Fentriss), Walker, Whitaker, *Whiteley, *Whitley, Wickett, Wilkinson, and Wilson.

* In the course of this research, over the years, I have built up some large databases of individuals, events and relationships, all with fully verifiable sources. I am in the process of including these in PDF format. I have marked the relevant names with an asterisk. The link takes you either directly to the database or to another page with a link to the database.

The other links are to pages on this site relative to that name. All the above names appear in my Yorkshire Wills index pages, containing the relevant probate details and now running to almost 2500 Wills and Admons entries.

I keep adding to this list from time to time.

Most of these names tend to be associated with relatively small geographical areas of Yorkshire and I have included some pages relating to these areas. These pages already include several transcripts and scans of Wills.
I will be developing these pages as time allows to include maps, photographs and other items of useful information.
