Jeffreys Systems started developing Data Warehouses as early as 1990. Some of our existing Data Warehousing projects have involved extraction of large volumes of data from Fortran file structures to feed into a European-wide Warehouse, and the creation of a Data Mart from financial figures stored on a proprietary database. These projects were all carried out using custom software developed in Visual Basic and Excel/VBA.

Jeffreys Systems is also a Business Intelligence Partner of Cognos who are the market leaders in Windows-based Data Mining tools with their flagship products, Impromptu and PowerPlay.

A Valued Added Reseller of the full BI toolset since 1996, we specialise in bespoke solutions and offer a comprehensive portfolio of related services including consultancy, design, implementation, support and training. Staff are Cognos Certified to BI Author and BI Administrator level for both the Web and Desktop product range.

Projects using Cognos BI tools include the transformation of data from a Help Desk database into Powerplay format and the overnight extraction of Customer and Sales data into an off-line Data Warehouse as part of a Targetting and Trend Analysis marketing strategy using Impromptu.
