For the General visitor More than 100,000 people visit Cromford Mill each year They come in groups or as individuals, as serious students of the Arkwright story or as refugees from the hurly burly of Matlock Bath, as shoppers or as patrons of the mill restaurant. Whatever your reason for visiting the mill you will be made welcome. Refreshments We have our own Wholefood Restaurant serving lunches, teas, homemade cakes and coffees. Shops There are five shops at the mill offering books, stationary, cards, souvenirs, gifts and clothing. |

Educational Group visits At least ten thousand young people visit Cromford Mill each year in organised parties. From primary school to degree level, a visit to the mill can be tailored to suit your individual needs. |
| Guided Tours Tours for visitors are available hourly throughout the day from 10.00am The Mill Tour This includes an introduction, a tour of the mill site and exhibition (approx. 1 hour) The Full Tour As above plus Cromford village, including the Lock up, Workers' houses and the mill water courses. St Mary's Church can be included by request (approx. 2+ hours). Special tours for the younger child - This can include entertainment and instruction with role play if required. School tours - £1.00 per pupil plus free guide fee - £10 Mill Tour, £20 Full Tour, maximum 25 per guide. Teachers and group leaders free. Booked Adult Parties - £1.50 per person, Guides £15 Mill Tour and £20 Full Tour. |
