Edward Harmston THOMPSON was born in 1883 at Mirfield, Yorkshire. His mother, Elizabeth Rose (née HARMSTON) THOMPSON was born in Thorpe on the Hill, Lincolnshire.
Bessie (née TAYLOR) THOMPSON, my maternal grandmother, was born in Pendleton, Salford, Lancashire.
