1. John CADE (1847-1847).
2. William CADE (1848-1929). He and his brother, John were baptised at Alford. He married Martha OLIVER, had seven children and died in Redcar, NRY.
3. Zachariah CADE (1849-1921) was baptised at Bilsby, worked as an agricultural labourer and then became a fishmonger. He married Jane, a Yorkshire lass. They traveled between Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and had seven known children: Hannah Elizabeth (1873-) born at Calveley, YKS; George William (1874-1954) born at Farlesthorpe, married Susannah ELSWORTH and had six children; Martha Ann (1876-) born in Macclesfield, YKS; Betsy (1879-1945) also born in Macclesfield, YKS; Florence (1881-); Eva Jane (1890-) born in Idle, WRY; and Lillie (1886-) born at Alford.
4. Thomas CADE junior (1852-1934) born at Bilsby, my great grandfather.
All the remaining children of Thomas senior and Susannah were born at Farlesthorpe: 5. Eliza CADE (1854-1945) was a servant and nursemaid to Samuel GRANT, his wife and six children at his 325 acres farm in Farlesthorpe. Eliza married Henry Robert LITTLE, a widower and fisherman of Sherringham, Norfolk, in 1879 at Farlesthorpe. Their daughter, Rosetta, was born at Farlesthorpe and then they all moved to Grimsby. Here, their second daughter, Maud Mary (1881-) was born.
6. Betsy CADE (1855-1865) born and died in Farlesthorpe.
7. Joseph Henry CADE (1857-1932) when 23 was working in Lincoln City as an assistant baker to Albert HALL, a wholesale grocer. Returning to Bilsby by 1885, Joseph H married Mary CHAPMAN of Thoresthorpe. Their first son, George Henry (1886-) was born at Burgh le Marsh. By 1888, all three had moved to Grimsby where they had another five children, Ethel May (1888-) and Walter Sidney (1891-1969); Harold (1894-1969), Albert (1895-); and Dorothy (1921-) who married Henry Herbert HORNER. Joseph Henry and Mary were buried at Scartho Road Cemetery, Grimsby.
8. Charlotte CADE (1859-) at 21 was a servant and housemaid for Samuel GRANT at 5 Pelham Terrace, Grimsby. Ten years later, she was still single and now a housekeeper for farmer William DODDS, a widower of Riby.
9. Sarah CADE (1859-1945) was baptised on the same day as her sister, Charlotte. The parish register did not state they were twins. In 1881, she worked with sister Charlotte for Samuel GRANT as a domestic cook. Sarah remained single and was buried at Scartho Road Cemetery, Grimsby.

11. Hannah CADE (1864-1928) married Charles LITTLE, a shipwright or more specifically, a ship's mast and blockmaker.
12. George CADE (1869-1954) was a locomotive engine cleaner, later became a locomotive fireman and finally a fabled “Railway Engine Driver”. He married Florence GILLATT, lived at Wood Street, Grimsby, and had three known children, Gladys Maud (1898-) who married Arthur George FREER; Winifred Nellie (1913-1987); and Doris Mabel (1896-1902). George was buried at Scartho Road Cemetery, Grimsby.
Thomas CADE senior became a gardener in Farlesthorpe during his 60's, and died in 1888 aged 67 years. Susannah, his widow, moved to Grimsby and in 1891 was living in that town in Garibaldi Street, . She was described as 70 years old and head of her household comprising her son, George, her married daughter, Hannah LITTLE and her son-in-law, Charles LITTLE. Susannah died in the March of 1909.
