Quality control:
Each kit is inspected several times to ensure all parts are included. If, on opening the kit, you find you are short of any components, let me know by e-mail. I will attempt to send the missing part as soon as I can, if they are in stock, or as soon as they are back in stock.
This photo shows the tanatalum capacitors C14 to C17, together with the D-Pak packaged regulator IC1, soldered to the PCB before the board is soldered into the tinplate box. Also solder D1, which is now an SMD, into place at this stage. A new PCB that better fits the box is now included. No need to scrape off solder resist.
Details of the input coils. The end of L1 is tinned and ready to solder to the gate of Tr1 after it is installed. The ends of L1 and L2 are soldered to the 'output' end of C1.
Two input coils in place and adjusted for lowest noise with NE32584.
