Shareholders United are an organisation fighting the takeover of United by the American tycoon Malcolm Glazer. The affect of a Glazer owned United would be vastly inflated ticket prices for supporters and the financial ruin of United to satisfy Glazer's greed. Welcome to the web site of the Aberystwyth and District Branch of the Manchester United Supporters Club. Founded in 1991 the branch now has between four and five hundred members covering Machynlleth, Rhayader and Newtown areas of mid Wales as well as Aberystwyth. The branch provides coach travel for members to all United's football matches at Old Trafford. In 2001 the branch celebrated its' tenth anniversary.
