Recent Events Within BT...
September 7th 2000 - the Blonde bombshells make their debut!
Leah Jenkins, Stuart Lawson, Ian Davies, Gareth Spicer, Alex Thatcher, Gary Hopkins, Adam Parsons and Gareth Callen from the BT Business department were feeling brave when they agreed to dye their hair Blonde to raise money for Tom's fund. The brave lads helped boost the fund by over £200.
September 8th 2000
The blonde boys made their first public appearance at a charity fun day in the office. Everyone was requested to wear a certain item of clothing or to dress in a certain way. Forfeits were in place for those who did not take - all managers are also included.
September 14th 2000
The office football team played their long-awaited rematch against arch-rivals Telecom Wales. When the bitter enemies last locked horns it was the well-drilled Telecom Wales lads who came out on top, winning 7-2. The score line was expected to be quite closer this time, as striker Jeff Bunce is rested and Gareth Callen, Stuart Lawson and Geoff Martin are making their debuts. The venue was Cyncoed and LBU people were invited to sponsor their own player.
These events within BT raised a total of £253, so THANKS to everyone involved.
