The day commenced with a football match between Chepstow Town representing Thomas Trewick and a Fire and Army 11. Over 200 people attended including Thomas who stepped in to take a last minute penalty helping Chepstow Town to win the game. A BBQ and raffle took place in the Clubhouse helping to raise £170. An under 16 disco later took place with another raffle.
Thomas was presented with a cheque for £5, 000 from The Stan Bevan Appeal Fund. Mr Trevor Allen a close friend of the late Stan Bevan presented the cheque on behalf of Stan's widow Eve who wanted to put the funds donated to her late husband's fund towards a similar cause. Total raised on the day £5,210
