The band pretty much started in like late 2001 / early 2002 when Tom first started writing songs that made any sense after a horrific skateboarding accident meant he could no longer persue his dreams of becoming a pro-skater and had to focus on something else.  After a while he got his best friend Mark (a disgruntled McDonalds employee) to play along to the songs and they decided to start a band, and they figured they needed a bassist.  So they asked their new found friend Tim to play bass, after meeting him at an Andrew WK concert he seemed the perfect match.  So the band had their first practice with Tom's sister's boyfriend steve playing the drums until they got a permanent drummer.  At this practice such instant classics as Number One were played for the first time.  Soon afterwards they found a permanent drummer Joe, who had started stalking Tim on Napster because he had Farse mp3s.  From the start it was a match made in heaven and the band proper began.  So we practiced for like 4 months and then played our first show on June 21st at Eddies and it was rad!  We started playing shows regularly around the Birmingham area but soon we came to a point where things weren't really working, so we decided a line up change.  This meant goodbye to Mark and we still remain best buddies with  him.  Joe then played lead guitar and we got Smitty to play the drums.  We practiced, recorded a few new demos and have played lots of shows since that day and slowly started to build up a fanbase in the Birmingham area.  Now a new chapter for the band begins as they are set to move to Nottingham and record their debut LP.  Stay tuned to see what happens.
