Shibby was the brainchild of Mike and Jono, who desperately wanted to form a band that played shows and made CDs. Soon Nic was then recruited as singer/bassist. Scratch and Sniff, Store Room, and The Randomers, members joined together to create Shibby. A harder, faster, more political, more fuckitical, and more...everything really.

Sadly they had to lose the name Shibby due to some money grabbing losers from Kent who also had the name 'Shibby' and they decided it would be fun to copyright it. So our heroes had to change their name to something different. After little discussion, they became 'Not Shibby'. They then decided that they needed another guitarist to beef up their live sound a wee bit. So local Punk-rock guitar hero, Dave Blow, was recruited.

During all this change, Nick smoked a load more cigarettes, Mike got fatter, Dave learnt the songs and Jono bought new drumsticks...As we stand today, they are the same group of idiotic, sadistic, homo-erotic, loudmouthed, ugly, deaf, lazy, moronic, inbred, hippy hating, beer guzzling, pillaging, naked, loving, crowbar yielding warriors that they always were!
