Pax are one of the most typical old-school-style punk bands I've ever heard. While anti-war, anti-racist lyrics are all well and good, Pax talk about the subjects so generally and in such a done-before way it makes me yawn - "Fighting wars for religion | Fighting wars for land | Fighting wars to keep the peace | I just don't understand" and "Accept people for who they are | Everyone's a different creed or colour". The subjects for their other songs aren't quite as bad, but not revolutionary.

As for their music, well it won't make your jaw drop and will probably go right over your head, but it's perfectly adequate for what it is, which is punk rock and essentially about the message anyway. I just think that to get their message across they need to be far more creative and choose words that will seem much more relevant and hard-hitting than their current output.
