A metal band with a good female singer is always going to have a certain appeal over one with a male singer for a variety of reasons: mostly eye candy and novelty, but with Obsessive Compulsive you can forget any images you might have of Evanescence or Kittie because they can stand out purely on the basis that they're a damn good band, regardless of the gender of the singer.

Singer Kelii has a sweet and well trained voice that sounds similar to Cinder Block when she really goes for it, and carries the melodies perfectly and fits quite well into this genre, although I often feel when I hear well trained singers against punk/metal music that they could be better suited to more commercial stuff.

Apart from the super punchy drums, which are exposed for their full talent in occasional drum solos, there's nothing amazing to shout about with the rest of the music, the heavy guitars are functional but hardly innovative, but it all kind of works well together and makes an impressive sound.

It's not the kind of thing that normally takes my fancy, but there's enough interest in this to keep you entertained for a good while. Go check it out.
