The first track by Elvis is Dead is over the top, greasy rock and roll with more sleaze than a Spanish waiter in a strip club, but unfortunately I hate it and it does nothing for me at all; it's too long for the amount of musical material it contains and ends up being very repetitive and lacking any clout whatsoever, even after the long build up towards the end the end result is a limp chorus.
The second track is the other side of the coin for me. By adding a touch of heavy metal to their sound and losing the bluesy feel of I Don't Wanna See You, they cut the fucking mustard with You Little Tramp and suddenly I find my head nodding and my feet tapping, and invariably singing along to that holy grail of music - the catchy chorus.
Getting this CD would be worth it, if only for that one track.
