Here we have slow burning, epic rock/metal music with slick execution, a beefy sound with full effort put into every aspect of their playing.  But I'm still not excited by this I'm afraid.  The vocals are a bit of a mess, the tunes hit some odd notes that make me grimace a little, and the screaming isn't to my taste at all.  In fact there's not a single point I can find on this EP where the vocals suit the music, they are either too weak, too echoey, or, oddly, too much like Michael Stipe (R.E.M.).

The guitars and bass are well epic through most of this, powering through their breakdowns and twiddly solos, but all of their songs are so damn long, which is the most depressing thing.  Once you've sat through between 5-7 minutes of one song, you thing "phew, thank God that's over" and then begins another track, evoking an inevitable "noooooooo......"
