After wanking about with never-ending chord sequences, Architects of Victory finally manage to add some vocals to their dull, drawn-out heavy metal. Even then the vocals have that overdone Metallica type tone to them that grated during the 90s, let alone in 2007.
Their lyrics are totally not to my taste, although they do show a lot of imagination - for a young band to write about the plight of a soldier going to war in 1914 convincingly is impressive, although to write a song about the devil watching churches burn is nothing short of pathetic and laughable and entirely negates any chance of me taking this band seriously.
