I've not heard music like this for a few years, it's powerful and well written and isn't ashamed to forget all the trends and quite simply rock out. It's probably a mix of the kind of emocore of 3 or 4 years ago with early nineties pop punk and something I can't quite put my finger on, maybe I'll know in three year's time eh!

I don't know what to make of the vocals though, there's a few different styles going on between the different singers, sometimes it's quite snotty and melodic - a bit like wiL Francis (Aiden), sometimes a bit deeper - a bit like Charlie Simpson (Busted, Fightstar) and of course there's plenty of screaming when the passion kicks in. What is quite noticeable is that the vocal style (although irritatingly not always spot on in tune) reflects the changes in mood of the music well showing plenty of thought.

It's an impressive array of tunes they've got on this album that are quite varied, although it's not the kind of thing I'd be listening to very often.
