The Culprit - The Stable Sessions

1. Blackball
2. Kill Or Cure
3. Requiem

For the first 20 seconds this could have been Korn, but the vocals were altogether a hell of a lot lighter, almost Lost Prophets like, and, as much as I hate the Lost Prophets, I appreciate what has made them successful - which is basically good tunes in an accessible strand of light metal. The Culprit also have this quite magic ingredient that Lost Prophets have without sounding like a rip-off of any other acts.

It's nice and tight, especially the drumming which has an especially satisfying thump to every bass and snare hit, and we've got some talent in the guitar department too.

I can't say much against these fellas, it's very radio-friendly and accessible metal and if they can get a lucky break these guys could have a bright future.
