I thought I'd heard dark music, but this is pitch black. The screams are terrifyingly strong and the music has a driving, perpetual motion underneath, switching between all sorts of textures to keep building up the music into a kind of slo-mo headbanging noise.

This isn't easy to listen to by any means, I couldn't put it on at a party without people getting a bit bored, and it'd probably irritate me if I had it on in the car, but I could quite happily have this on at full blast in my house and enjoy it while chilling out.

If you're into intelligent, noisy, screamy, epic, downtempo metal then this is for you. It's nice and heavy and is all about the build-ups, although it's not my general ideal listening.
