Secret Police - Bootie Call

1. Bootie Call
2. Underground
This is only a very short single of 2 tracks, so it'll have to be a short
review. Here is some indie rock in the same shape as The Feeling and Staind with
hints of the songwriting that Oasis extol. The title track is happy and bouncy
although the lyrics are pretty trashy, I didn't think people still began songs
with "Walking down the street"! The B-side is much darker and suits the
vocalists gritty style a little better. It builds into a nice full texture which
is pretty strong. It's not really my thing, this indie malarky, but it's the far
better than some of the other tripe I've had to listen to recently, and with
some touch-ups on the vocals could be commercially viable.
