Promoting awesome punk bands who deserve it.

*SPECIAL GUESTS*

*Special Guests* exploded onto the local music scene in January 2003 with their outrageous Punk performance. Their manic entertaining and energetic live set leaves their audiences mesmerised!

*SG* combine the talents of CHARLIE with his essential and infectious vocals, dual lead guitarists ED and KUN with their high synchronicity, the furious drumming of STEVE tightly knitted with LUKE on his pounding bass.

*SG* produced their first CD "Give it up for the Other Band" in April 2003. This was especially well received by a panel of renowned musical heavyweights from London - Ian Johnson (promoter and buyer for Virgin for 14 years), Samuel (producer/artist signed to Peter Tongs FFRR label) and Luke Hannam (bassist on Trevor Jackson's playgroup album).

In August 2003, after appearing at the 20th Rock and Blues festival in Ripley, Derbyshire, the wild stage antics and manic music of * SG* caught the eyes and ears of a Granada TV crew and led to their first TV performance being aired on the "Men and Motors" channel.

Great local sales of their first CD enabled them to return to the studio within six months to independently produce and record their second CD, "Chalk and Cheese".

In May 2004 * SG *   began their association with their new sponsors, Urban Ramps - a skate park manufacturer and entertainment company. This led to their first London gig at the Electric Ballroom in Camden - set up by Urban Ramps, Rude Boy records and Neville Staple (of The Specials and Fun Boy Three fame). Other artists on the bill were Neville Staple, Stateside Hombres, Rolan Bolan and Ictus.

The summer continued with live performances at skate parks and extreme sports festivals.

Local promoters chose * SG * to play with some of their favourite signed talent from Household Name records including Adequate Seven, Captain Everything, Howards Alias as well as others No Comply and Phinius Gage and Uncle Brian at the Charlotte in Leicester and other venues.

In October 2004 *Special Guests* hit the Rooftops of London, Filming their debut music video to "Just Another Slut"   with Simone De Rosa. The Video has just been brought to public attention and is hoped to aid *SG* in their attempt to whip the world up in to a frenzy.
