On "Boodyshakers Inn" Papa George's sensitive guitar playng shines on "Rain", a soul song, performed by Jimmy, with PP Arnold and Lorenza Johnson, who excel, backing. He stretches out with some powerful steaming guitar on "Black and Blue Too", an R&B/Rap track (Jimmy's rapping is the best), and he has recently released his own CD.

Papa George worked on a Jimmy Thomas production, as did Little George Sureuf, Lorenza Johnson, Pete Stroud on bass and other very competent musicians This production was for a group called CARSOS (Creative Arts Resources for Sanity of the Soul) which was sponsored by MIND, and the music was arranged by Nikki Slater.
Jimmy also recorded two songs, one of which he co-wrote with Little George Sueref, which are on Little George's new CD. Click on "Links" for Little George's website.
Jimmy recorded two new Northern Soul tracks, produced by Ian Levine, which are featured in a video about Northern Soul, also produced by Ian Levine. The songs are performed by Jimmy and are at the start and end of the video. "The beautiful Night" is always on sale on the web.
